Gravity dispense (bag-in-box) @ 27th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2010, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England

Clear light yellow colour with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate pear, barnyard notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, dry, tart, sharp acidic. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20101201]

Gravity dispense (bag-in-box) at Pigs Ear Beer Festival, day 2 on 1 December 2010. 5.2% on this occasion. Gold colour. Very juicy on the nose and palate. Quite sweet (despite being labeled as dry) but has a firm, sharp acidity. Rather musky feel. Maybe not the most challenging but immensely appealing and drinkable.

A Mes rate. Cask at Pigs Ear.
Cleanish yellow gold. Not massively dry even though it was listed as a dry. I do love a bit of Blakeney Red however and this is no exception. Big puckery tartness, a glorious effervescent feel and a beautiful spicy pear finish. Glorious.
