Bottle. Pours a darker yellow color. Smells of malt and a little hops. Tastes skunky and grassy. Very smooth. Drinkable but not good.

Clear medium gold with a quarter-inch white head. Earthy malt aroma. Flavor is slightly sour and grainy with sweet malt predominant. Subtle hop bitterness in the finish. Clean tasting and good.

The first thing I noticed about this beer was the size of the head, simply HUGE and fizzy (I did not even pour it hard). The colour is an off orange amber hue. Aroma is grassy and sweet, flavour is more of the sweetness and a fairly strong alcohol flavour. This said, it was a smooth drink with little aftertaste.

Pours a cloudy orangeish colour with a large fruity white head. Floral hops and sweet malts in the aroma, a little sweeter than what i expected it to be. pleasent none the less. finishes creamy with a lingering hop taste.

(Bottle from <A HREF=http://www.ratebeer.com/Place/maine/wiscasset target=blank>Treats) I think there’s a pretty good beer here that got ruined...Bottle opens with a big pffffttt!! Mmmm, well...Pours cloudy amber with a huge, overflowing foamy head. The concern grows. When enormous head finally recedes to a big frothy cap I detect aromas of caramel, vanilla and Bandaids. Flavor of tingly, vinegar sourness, Bandaid and actually still retained some nice malty caramel and vanilla flavor. I think there’s a pretty nice malty amber under here, maybe a poor man’s Drake’s Amber. But mainly what I got is my second new beer in a row that’s infected.

Pineapple nose with lesser wood, caramel, and chestnut notes. Cloudy amber with an enormous foamy head and good lacing. Tastes of chestnut, grass, and lemon. Grass and slightly plastic finish.

Poured clear amber from the 12 ounce bottle with very little head and minimal lacings. Sweet malts, bitter, citrus hops with a pine needle finish. Seems a bit under-rated to me, maybe there are some quality control issues. My bottle was just fine.

this thing is so foamy it’s ridiculous. a small pour yielded an ounce of beer and more than a pint of foam. and i can smell this monstrosity from several feet away. the first pour overflowed. the second one didn’t, but then the bottle did. what the fuck is wrong with this beer? is that what organic means? i almost just want to give it a .5 and not even try it. it’s like they preloaded 5 tums into the bottom of the bottle, only to be activated when the thing was opened. i’ll have to wait at least 15 minutes to drink it, and who has that kind of time? well i waited it out. the beer is pretty opaque and decent looking. smells like the floor of the brewery in aachen germany. but worse. you know how sometimes something is so horrific your back spasms? that just happened to me when i tasted this. my second sip did the same thing. it tastes like a plastic factory. to be fair, 6 sentences in, it might be light struck. but this is a hedonistic scale and i’m giving this my worst rating ever, 7 thumbs up.
