Floral, somewhat piney aroma. Pretty much bitter and metallic; not delicious. Has notes of grapefruit, some pine and a little toffee in the background. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Not awful but there are much better IPAs out there. jake65 (1760), Williston, North Dakota, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 23, 2006 Cloudy amber color with a small white head. Taste is very hoppy with lots of citrus and grapefruit tones. Slight maltiness, but mostly hops. Crisp finish is smooth and satisfying. csbosox (1087), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 11, 2006 Bottle: Cloudy copperish brown with a tan head and lots o’ sticky lacing. Flowery hop aromas and a little tangerine. Great dry, bitter taste and good medium feel - not too thick, about right to me. I am surprised by the low score it has. I think it is a great example of an all around IPA. hopscotch (5558), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 1/20 | Jun 11, 2006 Bottle... Mostly clear, amber ale with orange highlights. Dense, almost microscopic particles suspended in the brew (thanks to ernest’s rating, I noticed this... had to squint). Small, fizzy, off-white head. Aroma of orange blossom honey, sugar cookie and citrusy, earthy hops. Sweet, malty, honey-laded drink with quietly bitter hops. Medium-bodied with a chewy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Lengthy, sweet, then bitter finish. bb (2976), Martinez, California, USA
