ChazMania (299), Pasadena, California, USA Apr 27, 2008 Bomber. This is one of the most bland IPA’s I have had. The aroma is minimal and the flavor has no distinct hop taste. Very bland beer, might even pour it out all together and open something better.
unclemattie (1620), Georgia, USA Oct 1, 2008 12oz bottle, 7.1% ABV. Orange color. Aroma of citrus hops on top of cotton candy sweetness. Flavor has a sharp lingering bitterness. Some sweet malt deep in the character of the beer. Mostly citrusy hop flavors. Higher ABV adds to the drier finish. A good recommendation for a Newbie. grimreeser (738), Minnesota, USA Sep 29, 2008 ABR 2008. Aroma is earthy and citrus hops. Flavor starts sweet and finishes with a lingering bitterness. topherh (278), Kearney, Missouri, USA Sep 23, 2008 Pours a copper color with an aroma of citrus hops and wet grain. Flavor is herbal and citrusy hops with a dry finish. Rastacouere (5343), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Sep 23, 2008 Sedimented, though see-through orange ale covered by a healthy 1cm foam that mostly lingers. Needles and leaves take up most room in the aroma which lacks a bit of explosiveness, mostly staying away from fruitiness or flowery prowesses. Nonetheless has a pleasant earthy tang, though it approaches pencil shavings in the finish, producing a slice of astringency that pertubes the dryness. Fair medium body displays very active carbonation which remains refreshing thanks to the small size of the bubbles. Timid biscuity malts. It’s a far cry from their brilliant pilsner to my tastebuds, but it’s not a pint I would refuse. nearbeer (1317), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Sep 17, 2008 12 oz. Clear copper with a creamy head of a quarter inch that leaves frosty lace behind. Earthy vegetable, grain, citrus, molasses and oak aromas. Flavors are similar with some light citrus and resin. Medium body is smooth and dry. A bit underrated because it’s not your typical West Coast citrus-hop flavored bomb; more an earthy British-style IPA.
