This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a large sized head of foamy finely sized tan colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a hazy typically carbonated light orange brown colored body. The nice aroma was hoppy. The crisp mouth feel was very tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of hops and mild caramel. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again.

Poured from 12oz bottle into an English pint glass. This 6 pack has the ABV listed as 6.4%. Color is medium amber with cream colored head. Aroma is caramel malt and some earthy hops. Flavor starts with cloyingly sweet caramel malt and leads into spicy, earthy hop notes. Medium bodied with a sticky mouthfeel. Overall this just wasn’t very balanced - too much sweetness up front for any amount of hops to try to counter.

Not much to this IPA. Very drinkable and smooth, but seems to be missing some of the characteristic IPA notes.

Bottle. Another crappy IPA. hazy orange with a small white lace. Nose is striaght grain, smells like a brewery when you first walk in. No hops to be found. Lots of cardboard and grain. Ugh.

Poured this from a bottle. Golden orange color with a small white head. Aroma of some malts, light hops, but not very complex. Completely missing the floral and citrus. The taste was light all the way around. This was a weak IPA for me (first sampled 3/12/2012).

Bottle pours a clear copper with a thick white head. Scent is caramel. Taste is the same with earthy bitterness.

Pours a clear copper - orange. The aroma is subdued, some citrussy hops and a bit of caramel. The body is light, with a thin and lean mouthfeel. There is a solid malty sweetness with a lot of ripe juicy orange flavor. The finish is well balanced with a very pleasant hop bitterness. Not bad.

zestytaco (34) - Niceville, Florida, USA - DEC 6, 2011
Pours a cloudy pumpkin like orange with little bits of yeast floating around. Smell is hoppy, typical of an IPA. Taste is made mostly of hop bitterness with citrus fruit undertones. There are better IPAs out there but this one is worth a try.

Bottle. Pours a clear copper with a small frothy white head. The aroma is fruity pebbles cereal. Thin mouthfeel with a fruity hop and clean finish. Easy to drink a very good IPA from Butte Creek

rougeau13 (1216) - Texas, USA - AUG 24, 2011
Bottle. Clear amber-copper color with a moderate off-white head. Decent lacing. Aroma of resin, earth, caramel malt, and pine. The taste is mild maltiness and substantially, though not heavily, bitter, with a long bitter and dry finish. The body is medium with somewhat mild carbonation. Not a very good IPA, but I’d say not bad as far as the average beer goes.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market, Charlottesville, VA, on 6/2/11. Pours a clear copper-amber color with a medium sized creamy white head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of earthy and citrus hops with caramela and toffee notes. The taste is leafy and citrus hops. Malty finish. Medium bodied.
