estoppel (964), Buffalo, New York, USA Apr 18, 2008 Bottle. Not much nose (a little fruity hops), off-white head, amber body. A tad grainy, with moderate hop presence. Drinkable, forgettable.
dwyerpg (1990), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Jul 3, 2008 Beautiful red-orange aroma and nice head. This is quite nice. A good hoppiness at the start and it has enough bite at the finish. Some bittering hops seem to prevail, but in reality this is quite nice, and while I don’t remember the IPA, the scores seem to indicate that I prefer this one. jeremyd365 (66), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA Jun 28, 2008 12oz bottle--What a great find! This thing poured a very dark caramel with medium clarity and a very light white head that dissipated quickly. The smell is a good combination of malt and hops, while the taste is more hoppy than malty. It’s hoppy bitterness is apparent on the palate and it is a very drinkable beer. I would highly recommend this brew! phishpond417 (1162), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jun 26, 2008 Poured a hazey golden-orange colour with a fluffy, creamy off white head. Aroma was semi sweet, with honey, flowers, pine, hops and grapefruit notes. Taste was light, well carbonated and citrusy with well integrated hop flavor. Finishes very smooth. rustychiles (373), Mesa, Arizona, USA May 28, 2008 Pours a beautiful reddish brown with a large soapy tan head. Aroma of hops and pine. Flavor of malt, citrus, hops, earthy bitter finish. Looks better than it tastes, but still not a bad IPA. EithCubes (1756), Indiana, USA May 21, 2008 Bottle. Fruitful Cascade aroma, robust citrus with a warm, enveloping blanket of breadiness. Caramel. Orange-copper body with a tan, creamy head. Taste is strongly bitter, pine sans the resin with less citrus than expected and a nice, rounded woody finish. Dry and earthy with a mild grassy note. Papery hops. Light astringency takes her down a notch. Medium body with pervasive hoppiness but a good semblance of balance. Clean, refreshing rendition.
