Ale_Drinker (1065), Sunnyvale, California, USA Jul 1, 2008 Pours slightly hazy amber with thin head. Big hoppy aromas of pine, also a bit of alcohol comes through barely. Body is smooth. The bitterness that clings to the tongue has a sweetness to it... nice. This is one of the few times when its best to drink the IPA cold. Once this guy warms up it becomes way too sweet and the sugar just overpowers everything else (even the bitterness).
ChazMania (285), Pasadena, California, USA Aug 16, 2008 Bomber poured into pint glass. This was a middle of the road DIPA. Sweeter malt flavors with caramel and chewy mouthfeel. Worth drinking again yet others in this style are more enjoyable. Ramenen (333), San Salvador, El Salvador Aug 9, 2008 Thanks to Juancho. Drank it in Panajachel, Guatemala. Pours nice orange and hazy. Nice initial taste, however it goes flat at the middle and the end of the mouth. gunhaver (610), Tampa, Florida, USA Aug 5, 2008 Bottle. Pours a caramel color, with creamy vanilla head, and thin braids of lacing. Aroma is of wet leaves, corn, some elements of grassy hops, hay. Subdued overall. Bright floral kick to the flavor, grass, sweet citrus, pepper, some hay. Fairly malty. Bitter bite, fairly subtle flavor profile overall. Has a tangy alcohol vibe. fishingnet (800), Brandon, Florida, USA Jul 10, 2008 Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy copper with a one finger mostly lasting white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of pine, citrus, and floral hops with a good dose of sweet malt and caramel to back it up. Taste is the same as aroma with a ton of hops in the begining and sweet malt and caramel in the finish. Medium full mouthfeel with a moderate amount of bitterness and smooth alcohol. This beer deserves a much higher score. Very good. Tmoney99 (3503), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Jul 7, 2008 Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured clear copper color with a moderate off-white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus hoppy and malty aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Medium balanced flavor with a medium sweet small alcohol bite finish of moderate duration. This is a solid beer.
