2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma - for a stout, I’d think it would be a little bit more full of aroma. This beer really doesn’t have much of one. A pretty small chocolate malt, which has to really be coaxed out after several swirls.
Appearance - body color is black; liquid is opaque; the head is beige and initially 1 1/2" sets into a slice of foam on top of the body
Taste - semi-sweet with some roasty malt, there is also a little chocolate malt
Palate - body is a medium; texture is a light creaminess; the carbonation is soft; finish is slightly bitter and medium in length

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Sweet stout? This comes across as more of a watery dry stout. Decent chocolately malt aroma, ok dark pour w/ no head & little lacing, but a thin mouthfeel & lack of flavor. Not at all what I was expecting. Not a good stout by any means!

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pretty mediocre stout. Pours black with a creamy head. Lots of chocolate flavor, and basically tastes like chocolate milk. Not much else going on though so it relies on that one note.

Draft, Pours dark black with small khaki head. Aroma is sugar, chocolate and vanilla. Taste is a milk chocolate. A bit thin but tastes good. Not an overpowering stout at all, almost like chocolate mild. OK at best.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can. Pours a flat black body with a small fizzy light brown head that faded to a wispy film. The nose is pretty decent, nicely chocolaty with a lactose sweetness and a roasted malt base. A little bit of nuttiness and burnt notes. The flavor starts out pretty decent, slightly sweet, rather chocolaty, nice roast notes. Things go a tad awry on the finish though, it comes across a bit burnt and acrid with a little bit of a rubber note. They’re fairly minimal though, so it really doesn’t ruin the whole experience. Guess ya just have to drink it faster to keep the finish short. Lighter bodied with a little cling to the back end. Soft gentle carbonation. I wasn’t expecting great things from this one, but this wasn’t bad.

Not bad for coming out of a can.
Aroma Is coffee, toasted malt. Dark black, frothy white head. Taste is a bit overly acidic. Some chalk.
