3.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Not too heavy, not too light...it is what it says. The taste meets their style as described. I'd imagine some would say too watery...too light...but I would not. Nice coffee aroma when sipping. Hints of cocoa. Chewy immediately. Foams well.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Chocolate aroma, pours an opaque black with a thin light tan head. Mild chocolate milk taste, mild roasted finish. This is less sweet then most examples of the style, which makes it better in my estimation.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Not bad. Pours black with average head and a little splotchy lace. The aroma is coffee and malt, chocolate, a hint of bitterness. The flavor is pretty good, but understated. A little watery up front, actually, but some rich malt in the finish. A little thin, but decent.

Pours black. Looks like cola. Not much smell but a little sweet. A creamy, smooth texture that tastes like coffee.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Smokey undertones in its flavor. Highly carbonated for a stout. Drinkable but I wouldn’t
Go out of my way for it.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(Krampus can from UDBeernut) Pours black with ruby around the edges and a towering tan head that takes quite awhile to settle. When I see farmhouse ale on the can, and a towering tan head when poured, I automatically think this will be infected. Smell kind of confirms that, in that the aroma is a dead ringer for spent coffee grounds that develop that faint sour character. This smells like wet Folger’s grounds left overnight. This sweetens with warming a little, and some faint chocolate and roasted malt show up to balance this out a bit. Taste is fairly roasty with plenty of roasted malt, light cocoa, bad coffee, and perhaps a light tangy character. Finishes roasty. Mouthfeel is medium and carbonation is a little high. Aside from that initial smell, this beer is not too bad.
