Porkslap is a new interpretation of the English Pale Ale with a hint of fresh ginger spices (and without their tendency toward cross dressing). It’s balanced, not overly bitter, easy to drink and incredibly refreshing. We brew PorkSlap with two row barley and a little chocolate malt for color. It pours orange and crystal clear with a frothy white head. If your nose is working, you might get a little malty whiff that soon gives way to pure thirst quenching goodness and happy satisfaction. The finish is clean, crisp and dry, and it plays really nice with spicy food like tex-mex, bbq or hot wings. Go ahead. Slap that pig.

Canned. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet grassy and hoppy, but also with lighter notes of citrus. The flavor is sweet malty with a light hop bite in the tongue, leading to a dry medium bitter finish, with notes of grass lingering in the aftertaste.

Canned at Oliver twist, Stockholm. Clear dark amber, small head. Cinnamon aroma. Medium sweet with clean crystal malt character and medium body. Resiny bitter hops show up late and take over the show from spicy cinnamon. Quite simple, but rather good.

Hazy deep amber. Tidy white head. Light semi dry and semi soft palate. Wheaty orange with chamomile floralness. Finishes floral and dry. A little odd but okay.

Can to cup. A nice, sessionable pale ale. Pours a light copper color with a small white head. Nose of sweet malts and a touch of hops. Flavor was dynamic, some caramel sweetness and light bitterness on the tail. Mild spice presence. Light to medium in body with good carbonation. Malty finish. Not too bad.
