Mar 18, 2008 Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a hazy golden-amber color with a medium sized yellow-white head. The aroma was grassy, floral and had a light nutty malt undertone. The flavor was sour and tangy with light fruity and floral hops and a dryish, musty and a touch nutty malt base.

Jan 28, 2008 Pours a transparent bronze with a thin, spotty-lacing white head. Has a sweet caramel nose with some fruity grape and cherry notes that remind me of chewable multivitamins I took as a youth. Body has a decent fullness and some malt sugary sweetness with a mild balance of grapefruity hops toward a crisp bittersweet finish. An ok IPA that could be pretty good with a few recipe tweaks.

Jan 16, 2008 Updated: Jan 17, 2008I was impressed by their porkslap pale ale so I tried this...big disappointment. Looks good enough but smells obnoxiously sweet and grainy and has something else like rotting herbs. Flavor is a tad better with some earthy hop bitterness but not by much. I really dont like overly sweet IPAs with not enough hop dimension and this is one of them.

Dec 11, 2007 12oz can. Hazy orange color. Bitter and dry, with a pronounced citrus hop bite. Crisp and sweet malt shine through a little. Quite an enjoyable IPA, wish i knew the ABV.

Nov 18, 2007 Can. Deep gold-copper colour with a good sized head. Aroma is fairly grainy, with some honeyed malt and mild hops. Medium bodied. Flavour is moderately hopped, and the finish is a bit sharp. Average.

Nov 18, 2007 apple scent is a terrible way to start a beer off. Taste has a mild, drinkable bitterness. Daring? Not even close. This is a terrible attempt at the style.

Oct 10, 2007 (12oz can) Small off-white head atop cloudy amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel/butterscotch, some pine. Taste is medium sweet, a hideous combination of butterscotch and pine/grapefruit, mixed with some lemon floor wax. Medium body, somewhat dusky, syrupy.
