Our India Pale Ale packs typical IPA balls but strikes a better balance between dryness and drinkability. Itís every bit as rich but a little less bitter than other American interpretations of the breed, and hereís why. We are smarter, better looking brew masters. It also doesnít hurt that we use 2 row barley with no goofy processing. And then we employ a 2 week dry hop process before we put it in the can, with love for you, our beer loving friends. There is no fish or fish flavor in Snapperhead. We chose this cartoon figure to represent the brand in a somewhat random marketing process we call ínon-sensical ideationí.

Can poured into a pint glass A: golden amber color, slight head with little retention, sticky lacing covers the glass S: caramel malt, slight citrus hop T: sweet caramel malt, slight note of hops. Not really sure what makes this an ipa. The sweatest I have sampled. I guess it does not really fit in other categories. M&d: medium bodied, slightly sticky. Decent mouthfeel, ok drinkability.

Poured from a 12 oz can into a pint glass. This is a cloudy golden colored beer with a large white head. The beer has heavy carbonation. The aroma is slightly medicinal and soapy, not very inviting. The flavor is medicinal with a slight unpleasant aftertaste. The best part of the beer is the graphics on the can.

Pour from a 12oz can. I guess the splash-bang IPAís have dulled my senses, because my first reaction was "This is an IPA?" If they say so... Aroma of sweet malt with weak resin. Taste is sweet up front, a bit buttery, a modest resin in the finish, a weak bitter flourish are the very very end. Well crafted and well balanced, obviously not an accident. I can relate to the sentiment of bucking the west coast resin tothe max IPA style but prefer the IPAís that go for light, agile, crisp but complex tropical fruit hoppiness on a light malt base.

Boring IPA unfortunately. No complexity, no smell to speak of, no real taste. Tastes old, watered down. No real hop presence. The body of the beer is good, light, low carbonation.... The palate fails, there is none.

12 oz. can. Pours a hazy gold color with a thick off white head that sticks around. Some particulates floating around too. Aroma isnít much of an IPA - Iím getting some plastic & metallic notes. Medium-light body, the taste echoes the aroma, more of that plastic and metal. Can stamped on bottom had 2015-08-04. Finish was a little bitter. Not impressed.

March Madness 2015 - Nice amber color ; nice hop flavor without the bitterness...although the finish is a little bitter. Lighter than the alcohol content would suggest.

A light, citrusy IPA that comes off watery and not very hoppy. An ok daily beer, but don't pick it up thinking its a traditional IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From a can, gift from Maxbier. Pretty decent IPA, good for a daily beer actually.
