Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’08. Red Amber with white head. Good old Butts Brewery, still going strong and doing things properly, this is a sweetish ale type beer with warming alcohol notes, made me really sleepy in the May sunshine. Good hoppy finish, good beer.

Bottle picked up at GBBF 07. Amber colour with a small foam head. Interesting aroma that reminded me of camembert and sweet chutney. Flavour is sweet honey mixed with hop bitterness and fruit. Dry finish. A decent beer.

courtesy of Laurent Mousson - clear and dark reddish-amber colour with a persistent beige head; slightly earthy with notes of herbs, blood oranges and caramel; low carbonation; initial sweetness followed by a fair bitterness; quite dry malty and hoppy finish with notes of fruit marmelade - deeply balanced

Bottled. Lightly hazy reddish amber. Peachy nose. Sweet with some raspberriesAlmost full bodied. Juicy and sugary, somewhat estery. Some strange menthe-like flavours comes out once it warms and ruins the party. Low bitterness.
