Almondy maltiness in the aroma. Good sweet body, perhaps a touch winey. Fairly solid, but unexceptional bitter. No grunge from the ’organic’ ingredients. Nice gentle bitter finish.

Bottle conditioned, 500ml from Millets Farm, Frilford, Oxon. Copper with white head. This smelt and tasted a little stale, there is a sweet, cardboardy, grainy flavour right from the off, with a malty but unfinished, as though it hasn’t brewed out, character. Disappointing.

Bottle from Millets Farm Shop, Oxon August 07 Poured warm golden, aroma was sweet toffee and malts but not overpoweringly so, more of the same in the taste and lacking in bitterness stakes, not bad though.
