Cask conditioned at The Shoulder of Mutton, Wantage. Yellow gold, hazed with white head. Strangely fruity, sweetish honeyed flavours, a little over the top, tart in the finish. It’s ok.

Cask-conditioned at the Royal Oak, Bath 18/07/09. Apparently Mudskipper is normally cloudy, but this example was a lovely clear red/amber with next to no head. A fairly one dimensional bitter with plenty of fruity malt and a short finish. Ok.
