Mar 3, 2007 Draught at the brewpub. Sweet aroma with a little diacetyl. Nice, very dark brown colour. Stable, creamy light brown head. The flavour has quite a lot of roasted malts and is quite sweet. It has a lactic sourness to it, but it does not really hurt the impression. The aftertaste gives a burning sensation as if from real pepper. I had it in January, so perhaps a small infection was setting in. An interesting beer.
