3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
33cl bottle thanks to allmyvinyl.
Appearance - a very muddy brown with a little bit of lace.
Nose - pine, then bread, a faint blood orange note.
Taste - definitely grapefruit, then resiny with a bitter grapefruit finish. There is a bready backbone.
Palate - medium bodied, creamy texture with a dry tangy finish.
Overall - just within the realms of being balanced. Had a lot better in this style.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared with Dutchdrebus and Joes. Hazy orange color, virtually no head. Smell malts, hops, pine and resin. More like a double IPA. Taste malts, hops, some sweetish hops, bitter, lightly resin and pine. Medium body and carbonation.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Huge resiny hoppiness and big caramelly maltiness. I just can’t understand. Almost everything from buxton is really nicely balanced. One for the brewmaster!

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from the Beer shop, St Albans, Herts. A murky orange/brown coloured pour with a very thin white head on top. Sweet, orange, hoppy aroma. Tastes of ripe orange, some peach, hoppy, caramel, slightly sweet and rich. Very enjoyable IPA with hints of the Kernel about it.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 5/20
330ml bottle chilled. Really surprised at how bad this looks, like puddle water, no head at all. Almost zero carbonation which I don’t think suits the style at all. The result is a sickliness to what could be a really decent beer.
