Murky autumn leave orange body, slight head from consistent ringed carbonation. Deft lime, rusty hop dab of ABV. Any zing from the hop is combating a heavy, malt driven mouthfeel which the carbonation isn’t really up for toppling. Finish is kept tight, floral with soapy linger. Really not what I was expecting.

Tap at Friends. Orange-brown, fine head. Citrus and grass, yeasty, earth, caramel, bread nose. Kind of English and American hybrid feel. Tangy hop falvor, peppery, spicy, bready. Lots of osweet orange. Bitter, earthy finish. Decent.

Draft. An amber beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of hops, malt, caramel, and hay. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, wet hay, and caramel, leading to a dry and bitter finish.

Keg at the cock hackney. Gorgeous liquid gold copper color, modest carbonation, syrupy mouthfeel almost like a pudding, golden syrup. Pretty sweet, silky, malt, modest hops, nice.

Keg at Birmingham Beer Bash. Delicious IPA. Loved this. So much flavour. And colour. It really was a beautiful colour. Hard to describe in words, but the words sunrise, jigsaw and scarf encompass what I’d like to say about it.

August 20, 2013 - draught at the Earl of Essex. Hazy brownish peach with a decent if small creamy beige fairly long-lasting head. Smells very nice - citrus, light resin, sweet tropical flowers and fruit, some alcohol. Taste follows, pungent, ripe mango, resin and citrus pith bitterness in abundance but not obnoxious - really solid malt backbone. Thick, lightly carbonated, fairly long dry malty pithy and coating finish. Very nice.

Tap at London Craft Beer Festival 2013. Pours a hazy orange/gold colour with a slightly off-white head. Nice juicy aroma - pineapple, some tangerine as well as a hint of earthy funkiness. Medium body, mild carbonation. Quite boozy with caramel and a grapefruit, tonic bitterness to finish. Not too sweet. Nice.
