Bottle from House of Trembling Madness bottle shop, York. Deary me, this is an ugly beer! Chicken gravy, anyone? Aroma is overripe satsuma. There’s some treacle toffee. And then some oily, petrol type thing going off... Taste and palate is slick and oily. Shortish, dry finish. I was hoping for a lot better.

33cl bottle, bottled on Aug 2013. Murky light brown, thinhead. Very ugly. Bready, caramelly with fruityness. Flavor has grapefruit, pine, caramel. Very bitter, mouthdrying. Slightly sweet in the long finish. The taste saves this one fron being a disaster. Aroma was abit off. Nearly flat.

Murky autumn leave orange body, slight head from consistent ringed carbonation. Deft lime, rusty hop dab of ABV. Any zing from the hop is combating a heavy, malt driven mouthfeel which the carbonation isn’t really up for toppling. Finish is kept tight, floral with soapy linger. Really not what I was expecting.

Tap at Friends. Orange-brown, fine head. Citrus and grass, yeasty, earth, caramel, bread nose. Kind of English and American hybrid feel. Tangy hop falvor, peppery, spicy, bready. Lots of osweet orange. Bitter, earthy finish. Decent.
