Hazy amber color with small head. Aroma is hops, grapefruit. Flavor is citrus, hops, malt, bit watery.

Cask @ CBC Clerkenwell, no head, deepish golden colour, rye aroma with some light hoppiness,and a touch of candy, light herbal citrus flavour with a malty backbone, pleasant sweetish bitter aftertaste. Pleasant brew.

Gravity dispense at Merton Winter BF ’13. Hazed golden amber with a frothy white head. Nose carries hops, grain, grapefruit, orange, light mineral notes. Taste comprises hops, citrus, orange, grapefruit, grass. Medium bodied with soft carbonation, bitter in the finish. Decent stuff!

Cask, gravity, Merton Winter Beer Festival Feb 2013 w/e of Friday 15th, Saturday 16th February 2013 Light amber with a white bubbly head. This is jam packed with flavour, really full on, you really feel like it was the brewers intention to whack as much zippy, zappy, fruity, tangy flavours into this as he could, its a workout for the tastebuds is this.Fruity, spicey, citrusy, and I also get that marmalade that the description suggests. This is one of them beers that if you rolled up at a beer festival and just about everything else you wanted had long since gone but this had somehow remained you would just sit there happily supping away, well I would anyway, Marvellous stuff! Me and Loz during a slight lull in proceedings compared this to another one of our favourites the Blackwater Expressionist, they really were two great beers but in very different ways, this beer won out but it was a good taste off. Cask conditioned at Merton Winter Beer Fest ’13. Amber with white head. Dry, hoppy beer, there is an initial apricot jammy flavour, nicely sharp and citric. The body is a little grainy, bready with some spiciness leading toward a peppery note. Another very good beer from this brewery.

500ml bottle - Amber body, clear unlike most Buxton Ales, beige head. A nose of mild herbs, flowers, caramel and soft fruits. a spicy and peppery first sip, bit of citrus, bit of herbs, lasting bitter-sweet flowery finish. Interesting.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell on 1st February 2013. Gold with thin white dappled lacing foam. Sweet malts and much fruit in aroma. Hoppy in-mouth with grass, plenty of floral hop and berries. Fruity finish with core bitterness developing. Smooth mouthfeel and medium body.

Cask in CBC. Clear amber, oily looking, white bubbly head. Nose is hop citrous, grain husk, rye grain. Taste is hope, musky grain, orange citrous, menthol, pine.

On cask at CBC, London. It pours a clear orange colour with a small white head. Aroma is typical British amber ale. Taste is similar to an amber ale, slightly less bitter and with a touch of acidity from the rye. Dead flat and smooth mouthfeel. Not a fan.

Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. A hazy amber ale with spicy citrus and orange marmalade flavours, peppery notes and a bitter grapefruit and woody finish.
