COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask & Bottle Conditioned; Regular.

A hoppy amber ale, brewed with a complex mash of Marris Otter pale malt, Rye, Caramalt and Wheat.
A shed-load of American hops provide a delightful marmalade / citrus bitterness, well balanced by the sweetness of the malt, whilst delivering a charcteristic peppery Rye flavour.

On tap at Buxton Tap House, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Nose brings out light rye notes and grainy notes. Flavour is dominated by the rye notes, followed by dry grainy notes. Fairly restrained in strength, though this is rather monolithic. Decent.

Cask at Sheffield Tap. Clear, pale amber. White, lasting head. Red fruit. Grapefruit. Lots of malt. Some light spiciness. Possibly not in the best nick.

Keg at Euston Tap. Nice, deep rye flavoured IPA. Rye bread sourness, too. Herbs, a bit medical, but very enjoyable.

Bottle, given to me by jmgreenuk, cheers!! Pours a slightly clear golden beer with a medium sized, white head on top. Aroma is yeasty, caramel and has faint hoppy touch in the far background. Flavor is medium bitter with some hoppy touches alongside a big yeasty base, making it bittersweet actually. Oily, creamy texture and medium short finish. Overal quite an average brew, but pretty decent for the style.
