4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 FaithHealer1 (224) - SCOTLAND - MAY 27, 2012
Cask at North Bar, Leeds. Pours a slightly murky red-brown-orange, finger of head with nice retention. Aroma is juicy, resinous, grassy HOPS. Many, many hops. Taste is very hoppy too, with a lot of pine and a woody character too. Comes in phases - malt base cones first, balanced out by a big, yet not overly brash hop hit towards the finish. Full body, long finish. ’Tis good.
4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 The_Bish (162) - - MAY 26, 2012
Lovely. Massive grapefruit nose and taste. Like drinking a big boozy grapefruit... but the booze is subtle. Very nice.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 downender (4387) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 13, 2012
Bottle from Corks, Bristol. Deep gold with a slight white head and trace of carbonation. Big, hoppy aroma of tropical fruits, with some orange and slightly sweet malts. Flavour had much more grapefruit and pineapple, biscuits malts and led to a very dry, resinous finish. Excellent.

Citrus, with floral hops. Mid and lacy, with light sweet and mid to full bitter. Another fabulous beer from this brewery.
4.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20 erickok (1071) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - MAY 10, 2012
Light brown, with a creamy, frothy off white head. Pine hops, hay, citrus peel, bready and just plain great. Full bitter flavour, but never astringent. Very smooth. Not neccessarily the most complex DIPA but it doesn’t even need that. So flavourful and easy to drink. Dangerous maybe at this (totally hidden) ABV. Nomnom. (50cl bottle, bit pricy)

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20 prawlie (563) - Berkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 6, 2012
Half pint on draught at Reading Beer Festival 2012. Clear copper colour, with a bubbly head. Lively, hoppy grapefruit taste, with a citrus burn. Effervescent citrus aroma. Bitter aftertaste, a somewhat acidic. Good, but a pint of it would be a bit too much.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Jacob23_5 (110) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 4, 2012
Bottle. Pours dark orange-gold, thin foamy head. Big fruity, floral nose, mango, lychee. Nice bitterness to the flavour, very grapefruity, with plenty of caramel and mango. Very nice and fizzy, really well balanced. Top stuff.
