3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Corks, Bristol. Deep gold with a slight white head and trace of carbonation. Big, hoppy aroma of tropical fruits, with some orange and slightly sweet malts. Flavour had much more grapefruit and pineapple, biscuits malts and led to a very dry, resinous finish. Excellent.

Citrus, with floral hops. Mid and lacy, with light sweet and mid to full bitter. Another fabulous beer from this brewery.

4.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Light brown, with a creamy, frothy off white head. Pine hops, hay, citrus peel, bready and just plain great. Full bitter flavour, but never astringent. Very smooth. Not neccessarily the most complex DIPA but it doesnít even need that. So flavourful and easy to drink. Dangerous maybe at this (totally hidden) ABV. Nomnom. (50cl bottle, bit pricy)

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Half pint on draught at Reading Beer Festival 2012. Clear copper colour, with a bubbly head. Lively, hoppy grapefruit taste, with a citrus burn. Effervescent citrus aroma. Bitter aftertaste, a somewhat acidic. Good, but a pint of it would be a bit too much.

Bottle. Pours dark orange-gold, thin foamy head. Big fruity, floral nose, mango, lychee. Nice bitterness to the flavour, very grapefruity, with plenty of caramel and mango. Very nice and fizzy, really well balanced. Top stuff.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: FEB 19, 2013 Itís a hazy golden colour with a decent head, pours like it has come from the cask out of a bottle. Big big grapefruit, mango & exotic fruit aroma, very hoppy with a good dose of bitterness. Creamy palate, nice carbonation but not too lively. Aftertaste is great. This is really excellent, world class beer that takes the DIPA and gives it a more traditional British style.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottled. The aroma is quite full with strong fruity hops (citrus, tropicals, some grape) and a nice toasty malty background. Hazy, orange coloured beer with a medium, off-white head. The taste is moderate bitter, has some toasty malty sweetness and a lot of fresh, fruity hops. Medium-full bodied beer. Nice lingering aftertaste, not too dry. Fantastic!

Craft. Light haze on this gold beer, tiny white head. Light dry palate. Nice hops - sweet tropical fruits. Mango, orange and pine. Bitterness builds up. Finishes juicy orange and pine and semi dry. A very well joined up IPA - nice one.
