Keg & Bottle Conditioned; Regular. Has been seen on Cask.

Our full flavoured, strong India Pale Ale. Now hopped with Amarillo, Citra and Nelson Sauvin. This beer has a pale straw-amber body, and pours with a full creamy head. Its complex flavours include mandarin orange, schnapps, pineapple, and juicy tropical fruits. It is warmingly alcoholic with a dry finish.

Bottle from Bradleys. Clear gold with almost no head. Zesty tropical hop aroma. Flavour is really bitter with tons of citrus.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat. ABV is 6.8%. Hopped with a blend of European, North American and New Zealand varieties. Deep golden colour, large white head. Aroma of citrussy hops, especially mandarin, also some catty hints, and some crystal malts. Smooth mouthfeel, moderate carbonation in the glass. The lightly sweet flavour is distinctly hoppy throughout, with a grapefruity bitterness, also hints of pine needles.

Pours a blonde colour. Taste and aroma is extremely hoppy and dry with a hint of tropical fruit. Good stuff

Keg @ Victorian Craft Beer Café, Halifax. Amber with a small glow and a thin head. Had a noticeable strength but there’s plenty of tropical fruits to be found in its taste, and even more in its aroma.

Bue à la pression. Nez fruit houblon, palais léger, très peu de CO2. Typique anglaise, houblon se fait remarquer.

Bottle at home. Big floral waft opening the bottle. Pours dark gold with frothy persistent head. Nice balance of hops/citrus/floral notes on initial mouthful, persisting bitterness. Really dry (this is a good thing). I’ve had it on keg before when it was outstanding. It’s less immediate in bottle. A really good IPA, but for me the Ace Edge edges it (sorry).

Bottle at home. Pale orange colour with a thin white head. Extremely powerful aroma of hop: nettles, pine and resinous. The aroma is so strong it almost makes the eyes water! Taste is slightly sweet to start, then very bitter indeed. Nice flavours of orange fruit amongst the sappy malt. Very long, dry finish and slightly sticky. An interesting beer, but probably too hoppy for me. One for the hopheads.

Bottle. Grapefruit, slightly musty, light tropical, spiky maltiness. Little bit of caramel. Nice stuff.
