COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Keg & Bottle Conditioned; Regular. Has been seen on Cask.

Our full flavoured, strong India Pale Ale. Now hopped with Amarillo, Citra and Nelson Sauvin. This beer has a pale straw-amber body, and pours with a full creamy head. Its complex flavours include mandarin orange, schnapps, pineapple, and juicy tropical fruits. It is warmingly alcoholic with a dry finish.

Really good IPA. Cloudy, burnt orange colour with big fluffy white head. The mixture of hops makes for a great nose and taste, with citrus, grapefruit, peach, passion fruit. Finish is dry rather than overly bitter. Medium carbonation and creamy mouthfeel - very drinkable. Never tire of this beer.

330ml bottle from redmonds. Pours murky amber with white wispy head. Nice lacing on glass. Nose is peach, orange, pine, spruce, resinous hops. Flavour is caramel malts, with pear and grapefruit bitterness. Mouthfeel is slick and the body is medium, low carbonation. Flavour is lasting and and there is fruit punch on the way out. This is really nice.

Cloudy amber to gold color, very appetizing. Interesting aroma of tropical fruit, yeast, pine, almost too much. Flavor is equally complex, the yeast is fairly strong here and the sourness sometimes overpowers the hop bitterness, makes for and unexpected battle in the mouth. Acerbic mouthfeel, strips the palate.

Keg @ Brewdog Birmingham. Lots of fresh citrus in the nose, with plenty of juicy tropical hops and a slight creaminess to the mouthfeel before a decent bitterness on the finish. Great stuff as always from Buxton.

(draught) pours a hazy golden colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of pepper and herbal hops, quite resinous, with notes of mango and oranges. flavour is more herbal hops, raisins and lots of tropical fruit, with a hint of butter in the light-bitter herbal-hoppy finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Poured a cloudy murky brown colour (poor clarity) with lots of yeast particles a few millimetres in size. Had a one- to two-finger white frothy head that retained a while but collapsed to a collar. Lacing poor. Aroma very nice - strongly of tropical fruits (passionfruit, mango), sweet citrus hops and caramel malt. Taste with long nice moderately biting bitterness, moderately strong herbal notes and some citrus; alcohol well hidden. Taste more developed than the aroma. Medium to light body. Moderate bitterness but not too long of a finish. Very good.

Teku glass. Straw yellow/light orange, hazy with big white medium lastin head. Good lacing. Tropical fruits aroma (passion fruit, mango), sweet citrus hoppy aroma (mainly orange), some low pine and grassy aroma - mainly in the background, also noticable quite big malt backbone - caramel, bread, low biscuit. Moderate bitterness - noticable some pine, grassy and light herbal flavours, bitterness is moderate and not too long, itís well balanced with sweetness and malty character. Definetely dry and bitter finish. Dry beer, medium body, medium carbonation, light alcohol warming. Nice beer, but there are lots of nice beers. Thereís not too much bitterness as for DIPA, the bitter character is also quite short. Amarillo hops are noticable by itís indirect sweet charcter - in this case it should be balanced with some bitter hops. Nelson Sauvin adds refreshing and dry character. Aroma is definetely better than the taste. What I like is this is really refreshing and drinkable beer.

330 ml bottle from Redmonds. Murky, dark amber, huge frothy off white head. Lovely nose, loads of pine, resiny hops, pineapple, passion fruit, mango. Flavour is just as intense and has all the aroma notes in spades, backed by a big malty backbone with loads of biscuit and caramel. Decent body, carbonation is not over the top, long fruity malty finish. Sensational.
