COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Keg & Bottle Conditioned; Regular. Has been seen on Cask.

Our full flavoured, strong India Pale Ale. Now hopped with Amarillo, Citra and Nelson Sauvin. This beer has a pale straw-amber body, and pours with a full creamy head. Its complex flavours include mandarin orange, schnapps, pineapple, and juicy tropical fruits. It is warmingly alcoholic with a dry finish.

Bottle at Hell Hunt in Tallinn. Opaque orange body, head with great retention, lace good too. Resiny, pretty rough aroma, blood orange sweet, other sweet tropical fruits. Very juicy sweet, a bit oniony taste, with a mellowish bitter finish. It’s obviously too old, bottled 14.4.15 - its BB should’ve been due already but is 14.1.16. Feels less exciting than the average good IPA but considering I remember having it many times before, and liking it, I’m giving it a better score than this specific bottle deserves.

Cobrizo limpio y espuma marfil compacta. Aromas intensos de cítricos, mandarina, uva, pomelo, pino y resinas. Cuerpo medio, sabor intenso como en aroma y final de amargor resinoso duradero.

Pours hazy golden with a medium white head that lasts and leaves lovely lacing. Aroma is mango, pineapple, pine, grapefruit. Taste is grapefruit, ripened mango with lovely sweet malt backbone and big bitter hop finish. Very drinkable, a top UK IPA.

From Craftissimo. Drank with Matt after Reza's boat. Cleat light orange-tan with fizzy white head and light wispy foamy legs. Smell is lots of dry woody hop, spicy crystal malt. Taste is resin, dry wood, faint lemon spice, dry mineral finish. Body is dry, frothy, medium, light lemon. Lots of resin dry woody flavour that is still restrained and fine. Tasty and different.

Bottle from the new Craftissimo at home. Hazy golden yellow pour with chunky tall head. Aroma is apple juice, fruity hops, sweet caramel biscuit malt. Taste is very sharp bitter hoppy bite that builds over time. Orange peel, tropical fruit hops. Powerful bitterness leaves tongue almost tingling. Malt is less present in taste than aroma, not a bad thing. Very bitter hoppy IPA but more in a citrus fruity way than pine resin. Delicious.

Big foamy tanned head. Hazy amber. Malty, fruity and spicy. Strong, intense, filling, full-bodied. Very tasty and relaxing.

Pours a clear orangey golden color, topped with a fairly big off-white head. Nice retention. Very pleasant fruity aroma, peaches and other sweet fruits. Some citruses and a little pine notes. Starts a bit biscuity and malty, slight sweetness. Very fair bitterness, pine notes as well. Herbal with some sweet resin feel to it. A bit of alcohol in the finish. In general pretty nice.

September 15, 2014 - at The Pelt Trader; on cask. (at least I assume this was cask - hard to tell here; gravity, I think). Hazy fairly deep brassy gold with a lovely long-lasting thick off-white creamy/fluffy head. Smells of light tropical fruit and soft grassy bitterness - very low alcohol presence, Taste is fruity and delicate - plenty of tropical and tree fruit, but not overly sweet; juicy, not much bitterness, what there is would seem to be more floral than anything else - solid maltiness, and the alcohol is definitely present more in the taste than the aroma (8-). Average body, but the mouthfeel is spot on - not super carbonated, but quite lively with a light bit of acidity making it even more interesting - it seems to finish quickly, but as you work down the glass, it develops surprising bitterness, and the citra/nelson pungency finally emerges as it warms up. Just a lovely pint.
