Keg & Bottle Conditioned; Regular. Has been seen on Cask.

Our full flavoured, strong India Pale Ale. Now hopped with Amarillo, Citra and Nelson Sauvin. This beer has a pale straw-amber body, and pours with a full creamy head. Its complex flavours include mandarin orange, schnapps, pineapple, and juicy tropical fruits. It is warmingly alcoholic with a dry finish.

Pours amber colour with quite enormous, yet quickly fading head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit and resin, subdued at first but getting more and more distinct when the beer warms up. Though the bouquet is good and classical, it asks for more intensity. Taste follows the aroma with some biscuit notes added, dominant resin and strong, pleasant bitternes. Classical yankie IPA, a bit too classical - more intensity both in aroma and taste is needed to bestow high praise on it.

To me this was a bit low in intensity. But maybe the beer was very old, or a bad tap system as all reviews so to counter this idea.

Hard to believe this is from England, so hop forward. Pours a beautiful clear amber with a massive frothy head. Aroma is of pine, citrus, resin, and it is a little bit funky, but a good funk. Tastes of pine, resin, citrus, toffee, and brown bread. Has a medium smooth body with low carbonation. Has a very nice piney aftertaste.

330 ml bottle from Ales by Mail, bottled 16/06/2014.
Clear, amber body, with a big, creamy, white head.
Aroma of citrus, lots of tropical fruits, resin and also smooth malts like caramel and biscuit.
Taste follows this and adds pine and some grass.
Mouthfeel is medium, slick, with a medium carbonation.
Finishes bitter and dry, with lemon zest and pine.

Tasty! Not the most unique IPA, but everything you want from it, with lots of fruity and also piney hops and a great, smooth malt backbone, all in a perfect balance. One of the best British IPAs I’ve had so far!

The most Yankee IPA from across the pond I have had, this lil’ beaut has some piney, resiny dank to her. Whelming notes of massive hops plus a biscuit backbone mark the nose on this bitter beast. Although extremely tasty I don’t find it overly complex; this is a straight for the throat jaguar of bitterness. Hazy copper with a rich off-white head, this bomb sports mid-low carbonation, a lightly oily medium body and is a straight up good IPA’n time.
