Smooth malts with very light creamy sweetness. Mild carbonated nip in the mid. Hops present mellow but fresh tasting orange and a whisper of lemon. Light crispy finish. Nice!

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at home from alesella
Pours hazy mid-brown with peach and strawberries on the nose, which takes on some green apple notes as it warms. Light body and carbonation, fairly sweet malt, brief finish with little hop presence. Certainly smooth but a bit dull.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tasted from the bottle, bought @Buxton brewery, on 06/11/2012.
Pours of beautuful, slightly hazy reddish copper color with a lovely snowy white head.
Aroma is good and intriguing, having a mix of floral/zesty and ashy/coal notes.
Mouthfeel is medium-bodied and has a medium carbonation level as well, which perfectly suits to the taste. And the taste, in turn, is quite interesting and unusual for a bitter. Could feel some roasty and smoky notes upfront, following by some ashy notes.
Aftertaste is so sticky and pleasant, the ashy/bitter theme dominates.
Not a big fan of bitters, but have to admit that this beer is exception, well balanced and amazingly complex for its 3,8% and at least worth to try.
