330ml bottle from The Beerhive.
Creamy tan head, some nice lacing, black body. Tropical fruit nose. Flavour is liquorice mixed with berries, caramel, roasted nuts, charcoal. Bitter slightly grassy finish. Loads going on. Medium carbonation, rich full mouthfeel. This is a seriously good black IPA.

Tap @ o’haras pours dark brown, small beige head. Sour bubblegum aroma. Malty, hoppy, some strange sewerish aftertaste.

25cl en pression. Lille.
Appearance: very dark, black almost, very opaque. Frothy tan head with good retention. A lot if lacing.
Aroma: hops, dark chocolate, tobacco, earthy leathery, dark fruits.
Taste: dry, bitter finish, but balanced.
Palate: full body, frothy texture, good long finish
Overall, not my preferred style, but hard to deny that this is a well made beer. Good complexity and flavor. A great beer for those who appreciate hops and great texture.

On tap at food festival on South Bank, London. Very dark body with thin head of dark malts. Nose of roasty malts, coffee, chocolate and some citrus. Lots of nice coffee, dark chocolate and toffee in the taste. Also nice hops and citrus tastes, as you would expect. Nicely done! Well and bitter in the finish.

Keg at the Euston tap, aroma is choc and berries, nepoletan ice cream. Flavour is jam packed choc, light mellow roast, JAM, orangey piney hop. A little delicate spice in the finish. Carbonation is high, tingley on the tongue. Roasty lemony finish. Very nice drop.

Yeh banger... Fruity hop aromas lead into heavier-than-expected roasted malt taste with good hop balance. Got me interested in the style again

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours dark brown almost black, with a thin tan head.
Strong citrus and floral notes, with a hint of toffee and roast coffee.
Drinks a little porter like with strong toffee and coffee, but has a good whack of citrus and hop resins.
The finish is fairly sweet, good roast malt bitterness and hop kick.
