COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular. Also available bottle conditioned. Originally brewed at Leek Brewery.
A classic blonde – clear and crisp. Blonde is mashed with a blend of lager malt and wheat for a zesty, fruity character. Hopped with only continental European varieties, it’s full of flavour and character.

I loved this beer. Complex flavours. Sweet aroma with a good head. Medium body and a creamy texture. I drank this from the bottle. It has travelled well.

Hand pulled at the Waggon and Horses, Halesowen. Blonde, with a hint of Belgian yeast. Very drinkable. Wet mouthfeel, super smooth. Lemon notes, sweet malt, some hay. Liked it.

Cask at CBC, London. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a foamy, white head. Pale straw hop aroma with light hay and grass. Light to medium sweet with a rather strong bitterness. Straw and grass, light and salty dough. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Fairly dry, bitter finish, lasting straw hops, mild grass and white sugars. Very decent.

Craft. Clear pale gold beer, tidy white head. Light dry palate. Good hops - floral with nice juicy lemon and a trace of orange. Light dry finish. Like this! Light but with good flavour and so very drinkable.

BC from the brewery. Pours straw, corkscrewing with fizz under a dense white foam. Attractive, botanical and jammy fruit on the nose with notes of lemon rind, gooseberry, matchbox, grass and flowers. Bright, excitable GA with a floral, lemongrass and lime hop character easing into an oatmeal, biscuit softness. Some dry bite to the finish. Nothing stunning but the kind of refreshing, zesty stuff I’d happily sink a few of on a hot summer’s day.

Cask, handpump at The Smithfield, Derby, Derbyshire 06.11.10 This pours mid gold with a white rim for a head and a light film. Described as a continental style beer, I considered it to be a fairly safe but tasty enough golden beer, some light citrus fruitiness, bitter and drying at the end. A6 A4 T6 P4 Ov13 3.3

Cask @ O’Hara’s, Tampere. Rated on 20.07.2012.
Pours a clear golden colour with a small white head. Aroma of mild herbs, strong lemon and some orange. Flavour of pale malts, strong floral hops, herbs, lemon and juicy orange. Light bodied, slick but dryish mouthfeel and a crispy floral bitter finish. Good one.
