Shown against Leek on the basis of messages posted on Scoopgen. Golden in colour with a slight white head. Aroma of sweet cereals, apricots and grassy hops. Flavour had some diacetyl, grains and fruit, with a decent bitter finish. Ok.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 DruncanVeasey (5146) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Prem, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - NOV 25, 2011
BC from the brewery. Pours straw, corkscrewing with fizz under a dense white foam. Attractive, botanical and jammy fruit on the nose with notes of lemon rind, gooseberry, matchbox, grass and flowers. Bright, excitable GA with a floral, lemongrass and lime hop character easing into an oatmeal, biscuit softness. Some dry bite to the finish. Nothing stunning but the kind of refreshing, zesty stuff I’d happily sink a few of on a hot summer’s day.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Charlieboy (51) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 24, 2011
Tasted at the 5 lamps derby, thoroughly average and disappointing beer after tasting other beers by this brewery, lacks flavour and aroma.
