This beer pours a deep chestnut brown, with a billowing cappucino head. It has aromas of forest fruits and a biscuity, malty body. Generously hopped with US varieties.

Citrus and tropical notes dominate the aroma, pineapple and lime perhaps. A touch of roastiness appears as it warms Dark ruby with a thin head. Roast and bitterness are primary flavours alongside a moderate fruitiness.

Bottle drink @ home, from Saveur-biere.com - Color: clear black beer with small carbonation and small ivory head. Smell: malty domination bit with grassy and hoppy presence. Taste: malt and hops, the style is more a Black IPA than a Porter. But really great beer. I appreciate really the taste. Aftertaste: caramel and hoppy with sweet bitterness.

330ml bottle. Dark ruby red glowing, mahagony colour with late awakening, average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, ochre head. Resinous, piney, herbal hoppy aroma, slightly earthy, dark malty background with a nuttily touch, hints of chestnut, cautious red berry-fruitiness. Taste is dry, roasty dark malty, mildly bitter hoppy overtones, minimally herbal and metallic; taste occupies regions of quite restricted scope on the palate, watery side lines.

Bottle from the Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Pours deep brown with a nice cream head. This is a very chocolatey brew in both aroma and flavour. Nice creamy mouthfeel to it and a coffee and just a hint of spice on the finish. Very nice.

33 cl bottle. Bottled on 10/2013.
Pours deep dark brown, practically black color with a large off-white head. Very nice chocolaty aroma, mild caramel, mild hops and roasted malty notes with an overwhelming coffee/licorice finish. Sweet licorice and somewhat minty flavor, some cocoa and malts, finishes chocolaty creamy. Very smooth and easy to drink, slightly bitter malty aftertaste, the minty licorice gives a nice twist. Nice and interesting.

Poured a dark reddish brown with a frothy tan head. Aroma of deeply roasted malt, dark chocolate, lightly sweet latte. Medium to full body, flavour as the aroma, slightly phenolic on the Baltic side of porters really.
