Cask conditioned at Reading BF 2012. Black beer. Lasting tan head. Hoppy aroma. Decent beer. Very decent black ipa. Lovely rich choc malt. Lovely in fact. Good

Bottle, bought @ YNWA, Kolding. Pours deep black with a medium, creamy, beige head. Aroma is lovely, citrus, chocolate, light roasted, grapefruit. Medium to low carbonation, lovely dry and creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has firm chestnut, hazelnuts, roasted, dark chocolate and a nice hoppiness. Grapefruit, pine, peach. Very firm bitterness in the finish.

On tap at Craft. Opaque black beer, frothy pale tan head. Smooth palate, light and semi dry. Very mild carbonation. Nice dark chocolatey malt base. Nice balance of red fruits, cherry, raspberry. Semi dry finish with mild pine. Pretty good stuff!

Boreft Beer Festival 2012. Dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of orange peel, toffee and licorice. Sweet citrus and licorice flavour with a touch of alcohol.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter wonderfull flavor. Herbal notes. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate. World class.

Cask conditioned at Minehead Beer Fest ’12. Black, inky with tan head. Corr heavy, charcoaled malts, deep, full, dry then a playfull hoppiness, tangy and bitter, lasting. A belting great beer, very enjoyable.

Cask at Borefts. Almost black, fluffy brown head. Aroma of smokey and toasty pine. Taste is roasted coffee grounds and pine resin. Very nice.
