Keg; Status uncertain.
American Pale Ale; Big juicy American hops, plenty of malt character, sneaky bit of NZ in there too.

33cl bottle from Drink shop, Tallinn. Pours somewhat hazy amber with a small, off-white head. Fruity aroma with lots of citrus, some tropical fruits, malt and hints of spices and pine. Moderate sweet and quite fruity with a decent bitterness. Medium body with fairly average carbonation. Decent APA!

Bottle, Beer Moth, Manchester. Hazy amber looks with a meek off-white head. Decent citrus and piney hop in the beak. Sweetish flavour with some very tidy fragrant hoppage. Approachable and accomplished. Better than a tap on the jaw for sure.

330 ml bottle. Pours a cloudy dark amber orange colour with a lacy white head. Aroma of juicy pineapple, lemon and some biscuit. Very juicy flavour with pineapple, floral bitterness, biscuit, some orange pith and herbal earthiness. Medium bodied and a rich, juicy, earthy finish. I think they’ve used quite a bit of Columbus hops here. Suits me well.

Hazey orange with finger of white head. mild to heavy aroma of mango, grass, tangerine, and a small amount of pineapple. Juicy tropical fruit flavours with moderate malt backbone and dry crisp bitterness. The flavours and body are a bit murky, could do with being a bit smoother.

Bottle. Typical IPA appearance: cloudy orange body with a tall head. Fresh grassy American hops in the aroma. Thick oily mouthfeel with soft malt and fresh hops. Smooth grapefruity finish. This is clearly an IPA - why would the brewer and Ratebeer call this an APA?

330ml bottle (Drink Shop, Tallinn)
Initially a lovely bright fruity hoppiness. Later, maltier, a little plasticky (I think some are calling this "clean", and I think it comes from the yeast). Caramelly and sweet. Taste very similar to the aroma, but without the lightness of the fruits. A little sticky palate, but OK carbonation. Sweet caramelly malts, and herbal bitterness dominate, aromatic hops ephemeral in comparison - there and gone. Dirty bitterness, leafy, hayey, finish. Almost a tanniny dryness. Fun IPA, easy quaffer, not exciting or challenging, but fine for a time you just want a pleasant hoppy bitter with that modern feel.
