Buxton continues to deliver good beers. Jaw Gate poured from a bottle hits you with a great fruity citrus nose. Does what it says on the label and delivers a good ’american pale ale’.

Dark copper orange beastie with a nice tight white head. Little hazy. Yeah, this is an American IPA with big juicy hops, a sour citrus flavour and a sharp sherbert fizz. Long bitter finish, but it’s just a little heavy for what it is.

Keg Holborn Whippet London 02/12/13. A hazy straw coloured beer with a whitish clingy head and lace. A super sharp hoppy beer. A bit of funk from somewhere. Lovely citricity. Great pale malts. So easy to drink and the hops are beautiful. Very lovely.

Fruity sweetness, hoppy bitterness, i got some digestive biscuit and also imagine if you will sherbet mixed with wine at the end of this, i know that does not sound great but i liked it.

Bottle @ home. Cloudy orange-brownish color, off-white head, smells good bit sour. Aroma citrus, caramel, herbs, heavy medicine, soap notes. Light sweet, heavy bitter, light sour taste. Average carbonation, oily texture, long lasting medicine bitter finish. Interesting but this kind of bitterness is not really my fav.
