Bottle picked up at ’Jacks’ Westholme Store, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon, consumed at cottage in Faraway, Devon, Friday 21st November 2014. Pours hazy dark gold/light amber with mid sized white sticky head. Wonderfully hoppy beer, pithy, lemony, citrus. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

The bee pours a slightly hazed golden orange colour with a generous off-white rocky head that lingers a while. The aroma is citrusy hops, weal caramel, and weak grass. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour was grainy malt, citrusy hops, and weak spicyness.

Bottle from the LCBO. Clear medium copper with a large white head that recedes slowly and leaves a lot of lace. Nose has generous amount of pine resin, citrus as well as some undertones of honey and toffee.Light sweet toffee and floral start with a medium grapefruit bitterness continuing through the nice dry bitter finish. Palate is medium slick with average carbonation. Very nice APA with interesting floral layers.

Bottle rated from moderately cool. Pours a nice gold, white head. Nice bitter and citrus aromas that play into grassy and lemony flavors. Palate just full enough and moderately dry, some nice resin and herbal hop overtones. Wanders into IPA territory with the insistent, increasing dryness. Underlying pale malt and sweet fruit. I liked it.

500 mL bottle. Copper-orange with a small but sticky white head. Smells American. Tastes American. Hop juice, but there is a touch of malty sweetness there first. Quite bitter, for the style. Excellent brew.

Diabobale (225) - ITALY - NOV 8, 2014

Bottle from LCBO. Juicy fruity aroma. C-hop and floral hoppy taste. Nice bitter finish. Good balance. Good APA.
