Hand pulled at the Euston Tap, London. Great smell! Smooth, beautifully hopped ale. Drops off on finish, otherwise a delicious, balanced, hoppy, orange, frresh taste. Really good.

Craft. Clear amber beer, tidy white head. Light dry palate. Low carbonation. Nice blood orange marmalade hops. Not much else going on but what there is is good. Neutral finish.

the least good of the Buxton brews i’ve had. but still much better than a lot of beer. deep murky cherry brown. no head. aroma of sweet malt and toffee. a good hop aroma too. flavour is quite complex but doens’t quite hang together properly. spicy, hoppy, toffee, smokey. intersting bottle. wineways. harroegate

DruncanVeasey (5146) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Prem, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - NOV 25, 2011
BC from the brewery. Murky copper with a stable cream collar that falls way with sipping. Slightly dribble-making, mostly hop aroma wafting headily with pollen, Neopolitan ice cream, blackcurrant...turning increasingly to liquorice. Lavender-like, blackcurrant and liquorice notes dominate the palate with an added chaff of dry roasted. Another winner from Buxton humming softly with the joys of the hop.

Bottle. My first from this brewery and it created a reasonable impression. Slightly reddish in appearance with a medium head. Some hops are present with a trace of maltiness. Nothing special but quite interesting.
