33cl bottle from Mother Kelly’s. It pours a deep brown color with ruby edges and a small beige head. Aroma is intensely roasted with strong notes of cocoa powder and light citrus. Some light wood notes alongside burnt sugar. Taste is medium sweet medium roasty bitter upfront then turns into a citrusy tanginess. Very dry astringent finish. Overall, really tasty and pleasant to drink

Opaquely black with a small white head. Deep, thick, dry stout. Unsweet molasses smell. Metallic full bodied taste with a finish that is hoppy bitter rather than from the black malt. Rated by BrewTom

@StoutandLager. 1 an d’âge (Sept. 2013)

Keg@6 degrees north
Dark ruby brown with frothy tan head. Roasty nose, light body, astringent burnt toasty, almost carbonised, with very little else. Too cold and gassy, probably some fruit and hop in there but hard to find.

Black with a thick beige head. Aroma of burnt, roast malt, smoke, coffee, earthy hops. Taste is light sweet with a long bitter finish. Thin/medium oily texture, with low carbonation. Good.
