Bottle at Craven Arms Brum with Sarky and Rich. clear gold lasting white head. Saison aroma. Hoppy finish. Hmm a bit too heavy for a saison for me too much hop. Ok but too much new world hop flavour.

Hanoi (462) - Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - NOV 20, 2014
Bottle. Nose is richly fruity, a deep strawberry note, banana, undercut with honey, caramel and the lightest touch of hops to stop it getting too cloying with ffrass. One of the most inviting smelling beers Iíve had in ages. Taste is prominent white grape, leading to a sour note, Belgian yeast, dough, hay, wet hops, emerging earth and spice and clove in the finish. Itís very nice but doesnít match the extraordinary nose. Mouthfeel is fine. A may have had this beer a touch too warm, but was very nice.

Leighton (11900) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 13, 2014
Bottle at home in London - sourced from Kris Wines. Bottled on 22/7/2014. Pours hazy, deep orange-gold with a relatively dense, frothy white head. The aroma gives off a sturdy dose of new world hops - mango, piss, pineapple - along with yeasty esters and lightly doughy wheat. Medium sweet flavor with a robust, pale wheat base, a bit of salty sourdough bread, more pissy hops, some melon, grapefruit, touches of rindy bitterness, slight straw, flaked wheat, undertones of clove. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation, which really lifts the beer. Nicely balanced on the finish with a decent amount of depth, further layered hop character, slight piney resins, tropical fruits, a pale wheat ballast. Great beer overall.

Bottle from Vino Wines. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of grass, lemon, hay and passionfruit. Flavour of orange, lime, Belgian yeast, candy, white grape and faint spices. Medium body with a spritzy mouthfeel. A sublime Saison, with lots of subtle flavours.
