NOTE: The recipe for this beer changed significantly in 2011.

A light, refreshing, hoppy pale ale. A showcase for the incredibly aromatic North American hop – Citra. It has a lovely citrus aroma, with juicy fruit flavours in the mouth. Medium bitterness.

Nice lemon and grapefruit aromas on the aroma, this is a real summer gluging beer, with a fresh but bitter finish

33cl bottle from M&S, Camberley. A pale straw colour with a thin white head; lemony aroma; strongly citrus taste; and a clean crisp finish. Another flavourful beer from Buxton.

Bottle at malamačka. Pours a slightly hazy light yellow color, topped with a big frothy white head. Fine retention. Fruity aroma, mild notes of tropical fruits to be precise. Slightly herbal, mild bitterness and some gentle herbs in the aftertaste. Nice.

My Bottom Line:
This frothy and fragrant American-style Pale Ale lays elderberries and flowers upon grass and citrus fruit, a mighty engaging profile seguing into lengthy resinous bitterness.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A fluffy head of foam tops the misty golden.
-The mouthfeel is dry and bubbly, perfect to showcase all these beautiful hops.
-The hoppiness may be intense, but drinkability is still very high.
-A mineral touch is felt within.
-All this flavor and 4.1% abv? Sign me up for more!
