NOTE: The recipe ofr this beer changted significantly in 2011.

A light, refreshing, hoppy pale ale. A showcase for the incredibly aromatic North American hop – Citra. It has a lovely citrus aroma, with juicy fruit flavours in the mouth. Medium bitterness.

One of the best beers that I have been drunk. Aroma of fruits and grass. Fruits are in taste too. Also some caramel, floral and herbs. Lightly carbonated.

Not sure why this was retired... lovely fresh mango aroma with perhaps a hint of cat urine which thankfully doesn’t cross into the taste with is pure mango sorbet with a hint of lime. Sweet finish to this golden beer.

Big bit of spicy citrus from the aroma up front, flavour is full of grapefruit and more citrus. Clean sharp bitter flavours. A really nice ale this. Reminds me a lot of the stone and wood just for the flavour punch.

en aroma lupulo y mas lupulo. muy cítrica (será por eso que el lupulo usado se llama Citra...). en sabor muy lupulada (otra vez) amarga y seca, lo que unido a su poco cuerpo la convierte en una cerveza de sesión excelente.

Aroma: Zesty lemon sherbet, white grape and vine tomato - very bright aroma.

Appearance: Hazy pale golden body. Thin white head that slowly fades. Light carbonation. Good lacing.

Taste: Zingy flavours of lemon, lime and grapefruit. Sherbet and vine tomato notes too. I knew there was Citra in this after the first smell and sip - what a wonderful hop it is. Lovely refreshing taste, and just 4.1% ABV.

Palate: Thin to medium body with an oily texture. High carbonation.

Overall: Expensive but probably worth it. One of the most refreshing beers I’ve ever tasted. A fizzier version of Fyne Ales’ Jarl.

Draught cask at Craft Beer Co Cov Garden. Really great condition cask pour. Bright golden colour. Gentle citrus hop aromas, nice clean crisp finish - everything a good sessionable cask ale should be (IMHO!)

Cask at CBC, London. Thanks Tom. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a white foam head. Nice hop nose, some straw, hay and grass. Light to medium sweet flavor, good hop balance, straw and hay, light citrus. Light in body with fine carbonation. Great condition. Clean finish with great balance all the way, good grassy bitterness, some hay, light biscuity sweetness. So smooth to drink. Excellent.
