NOTE: The recipe for this beer changed significantly in 2011.

A light, refreshing, hoppy pale ale. A showcase for the incredibly aromatic North American hop – Citra. It has a lovely citrus aroma, with juicy fruit flavours in the mouth. Medium bitterness.

One of the best beers that I have been drunk. Aroma of fruits and grass. Fruits are in taste too. Also some caramel, floral and herbs. Lightly carbonated.

Not sure why this was retired... lovely fresh mango aroma with perhaps a hint of cat urine which thankfully doesn’t cross into the taste with is pure mango sorbet with a hint of lime. Sweet finish to this golden beer.

Big bit of spicy citrus from the aroma up front, flavour is full of grapefruit and more citrus. Clean sharp bitter flavours. A really nice ale this. Reminds me a lot of the stone and wood just for the flavour punch.

Buonissima!!!

Draught cask at Craft Beer Co Cov Garden. Really great condition cask pour. Bright golden colour. Gentle citrus hop aromas, nice clean crisp finish - everything a good sessionable cask ale should be (IMHO!)

Golden ale perfectly in style: low-medium body; medium bitterness (about on 35 IBU); surely hop-oriented, it has aromas mainly of exotic fruits and slightly citric but with a strong herbaceous and earthy base on a dry and clean finish. The low alcohol content (4.1%) makes it pleasant and invigorating without any collateral effects. The balance between the flavors makes the palate pleased but letting you slightly unsatisfied, just a little bit, which is a virtue: not cloying, not too watery. Taken when I was about to collapse from the heat, I am not exaggerating when I say it brought me back to life. Perfect for your seaside holidays as to the mountains. Highly recommended to all. Consigliatissima a tutti.

Promossa
