A light, refreshing, hoppy pale ale. A showcase for the incredibly aromatic North American hop – Citra. It has a lovely citrus aroma, with juicy fruit flavours in the mouth. Medium bitterness.

Bottle from the Lion’s Den in Yarm. Pours golden with a white head that diminishes quite quickly to a light layer of froth. Starts juicy with citrus before a fairly bitter finish with some quite soapy notes. After a while the soapiness seems to fade and it improves with more citrus coming through.

Bottle from Eebria. Golden orange, slightly sparkling, hazy, small white head. Aroma is light lemon, maybe a touch of vinegar. Body is medium, spritzy, slightly foamy. Taste is light and watery up front, some thin citrus, late caramel sweetness with a musty bitterness in the finish.

Draught cask at Craft Beer Co Cov Garden. Really great condition cask pour. Bright golden colour. Gentle citrus hop aromas, nice clean crisp finish - everything a good sessionable cask ale should be (IMHO!)

Big bit of spicy citrus from the aroma up front, flavour is full of grapefruit and more citrus. Clean sharp bitter flavours. A really nice ale this. Reminds me a lot of the stone and wood just for the flavour punch.

Bottle from the lovely Jo at Vino. Hazy lemon yellow with billowy white head. Aromas of citrus, hops and cereal. Taste mild sourness with balanced sweet and bitter. Astringent finish. Very good as usual from Buxton.
