3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
330ml bottle. Pours deep brown with a light but persistent cappuccino head. Aroma of leather, coffee, dark chocolate, hay, dusty cellar. Flavour is rich and complex but a bit messy, coffee, licorice, some sourish notes, medium astringency. High body, medium to light carbonation. Weird...

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
330ml bottle, pours black, no head, Brett stands out, with light roast malt, dark dried fruit, body light, texture creamy and oily, light tartness, its balanced well, and super easy to drink, very light and easy going. Nothing too complex, dangerously drinkable.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Weird one this... aromas of malt and tart... tart flavours, bit of funk, ripe berries, touch of coffee. Really quite thin in the mouth. It’s good, and interesting, but not sure if I’d be rushing out to buy more.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Keg at De Wildeman, 6th July 15. Black, not much head. Aroma is funky liquorice, infused leather, taste is really interesting, bitter and sweet, the Brett cuts through the richness and makes for a complex beer. Liked it

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft @ Brett Fest 2015. black pour. Aroma of booze and tart, weird. Taste is a bit of a letdown, very boozy and stingy, with an unpleasent sourness and a little roasted coffee. This is more liquor than beer. Expected more from this.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle shared at the Cotteridge convention, 24/01/2015. Huge thanks to whomever brough this one. Dark black coloured pour with a lasting mid tan head. Aroma is musty, tar, cherry notes, ashy, roast. Flavour is composed of cherry wood, caramel, musty, ashy roast, Palate is lovely and velvety smooth, semi-sweet, little charred wood notyes in the finish. I dig it.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap @ In de Wildeman at Carnivale 2015, small sample. Dark color, short brown head. Aroma of roast, funky brett, slight coffee. Malty bitterness in taste, slight creamy, funky notes, bit dry. I always seem to find bretty dark beers a bit unbalanced, going from funky towards roasted and never really mixing in together. Decent enough try though.
