Bottle (330 ml). Shared by SlovakSniper and Rodenbach99, thanks! @ Hotel Room Tasting.

Appearance: Black with a small ring of brown foam and little lacing.

Aroma: A bit medicinal at first, but it then settles down. Raisin, fruity brettanomyces, chocolate, roasted malts, molasses and tobacco.

Taste: Light sourness. Fruity brettanomyces, chocolate, tobacco, molasses and roasted malt.

Palate: Medium body. Light to moderate carbonation. Fruity and chocolatey finish.

Overall: Not the best sour stout I have had so far, but a really nice experiment with the Courage brettanomyces yeast strain. It was fun to try and quite tasty.

Bottle 330ml as Special Reserve Bomba Generation 4 @ Geokkjer
Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, brett, citrus and lemongrass. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter and light sour with a long funky , roasted, warm, chocolate and caramel finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. As Special Reserve Bomba Generation 4. A more or less black one, with a small, tan head. The aroma is very vinous and soapy, reminiscent of lemongrass. The flavor has lots of chocolate, coffee and molasses, as well as vinous notes. Full body, soft carbonation and quite sweet on the palate. Lasting finish. Interesting this one, but rather weird, even though there’s a nice brett touch. Not my kind of beer this one, still nice in a way. 150328

Bottle split at the Cotteridge Convention, thanks to Mike, 24/01/15. Mahogany brown with a moderately appointed light tan covering. Nose is toffee, charr, caramel, spice, musty notes, light brett. Taste comprises dark fruit rinds, rich toffee, yeast notes, spice, chocolate. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid stuff.
