Bottled. A pitch black beer with a huge dark brown head. The aroma has notes of chocolate and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and wood, leading to a dry roasted finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

From tap @Borefts 2012. Opaque black. A layer of tan bubbles on top. Mild roast and milk chocolate on the nose. Hints of acidic yellow fruits and wood. Soft and mild in the mouth. Medium full. Rounded malt body. Dryish, cocoa-accented with fine fruit tones. Fresh sourness in the ending.

Black colored pour. Small tan head. No lacing. Smooth aroma of smoke, chocolate. A smooth taste of the same. Not much Brett that I can detect. More like a dry RIS. Good though.

Bizarre smelling beer, kind of fruity but also like a weird cleaning product, I think I like it but not sure. On the whole the beer looks good and tastes ok.

Borefts Beer Festival IV. Day 1. Nice yeast story with this beer! Opaque black beer, tiny pale tan head. Smooth dry palate with mild carbonation. Smooth dark malt. Mild dark fruits. Smooth and somewhat sweet brett on top. Nicely joined up. Dry finish with a slightly spicy aftertaste.
