Bottle from Great Grog. Pours a light amber (lighter than i normally expect from a double IPA) Aroma is full with piney hops and candied orange. Sweet malt comes through but the hops are dominant (as one might expect!). Some alcohol burn on the nose also. Little too much fizz for me. Medium bodied. Taste has more alcohol. Plenty hoppy bitterness that goes on and on. Getting a weird cabbagey, vegetal thing that i’m not digging much at all. Prefer the aroma to the taste. I Like Burton.... not liking this effort much though

Bottle Rehills Newcastle. This. Is. Fantastic. Pours a lovely pale copper colour with a big foaming head. Aromas of peach, kiwi fruit, citrus and phenols. Immense smoothness on the tongue, very light caramel, oily spruce, subtle booziness, drinks so easily. Beer of the year contender already
