Bottled 02/04/14. Pours a hazy amber with a slightly off-white head. Aroma is pine, caramel, wood. Itís sweet and fairly sticky smelling. Toasted rye bread, light caramel, marmalade, grapefruit, lemon, pine, wood, fairly resinous. Itís got a solid bitter kick, its well balanced, not that sweet... Really pretty tasty.

Bottled. Hazy amber beer, good creamy head. Tight grapefruity, dried apricoty and floral hop notes, "wet and green" hop notes har to describe, light caramel and boozy fermentation aromas. Sweet and caramelly flavor with loads of bitterness, slightly harsh alcohol, medium dark caramel and ripe fruitiness. Long lingering, resiny bitterness has slight mineral bite. Full body, rather heavy drinkability. Nice carbonation, slightly alcoholic/harsh texture. Sweetish and slightly alcoholic character brings some homebrewed DIPA:s into mind. Somethingís good and somethingís not that good in this beer.

Aroma: massive hops, sweet flowers, hay. Appearance: clear gold, small white head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: bitters initially, but the the sweets come up, grass, pine, fruits, quite bitter dry finish. Overall: fantastic IIPA, from aroma to palate amazing. Pint at the Buxton Tap House, Buxton.

33cl bottle. Clear and copper coloured. Aroma stands out a mile: sweet, very piney, perfumed, a little earthy -- it just doesnít seem to subside. Smooth and medium-bodied. Bitter linger melds with a good bit of alcohol warming. A peppery even spicey finish was my experience. Would love to try on draught.

Bottled. Pours slightly hazy and deep golden with an average lacing, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, peach, orange, grapefruit and pinr. Sweet flavor that ends up dry and nice bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carb. A very nice IPA.

Good, very cloudy double IPA with thin, long lasting top. Not overwhelmingly hopped, quite well balanced.

Bottle, Beer Moth, Manchester. Hazy dark gold pour with a fast fading white head. Belting fruit and hop in the nose. Great balance struck in the flavour with a solid sweet malt spine working in tandem with some superb piney hop. Spot on bitterness, really excellent stuff. U canít beat a bit of Buxton as Jim Bowen might say.

Live rate. Bottle limbering up for some stateside shenanigans: I expect to be drinking this kind of brew for breakfast for the next few days. Pours pale hazed orange with a fine white disc of head. Hot peach, orange liqueur, kumquat sharpness and soft pineapple aroma with plenty of alcohol presence. Softer and more floral on the palate with a pungent, nectar-like smoothness; dry pine; botanical impressions, kumquat and deep grounding husk. Less alcohol and more balance than anticipated; at heart all about those perfumed, aromatic little buds, but scattered over a rock solid, not-excessively-sweet malt foundation. Dry, biting and floral like a G&T. Top stuff.
