Cold bottle. Smells a bit like the Axe Edge. Up front flavour is sickly sweet, intense, floral and piney. Finish of washing up liquid and a soft enduring bitterness. Floral flavours stick around for a while. Not as bitter as I was expecting.

Pours a hazy orange, with a thick white foam head. Really intense hops and pine aroma, from this super fresh bottle, delivered straight from the brewery . Beautifully balanced hop and malt flavour, with a drying bitter hop finish. Better than most DIPA from the U.S.

Bottle. Golden, hazy, small to average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate to full malty and sweetish aroma with some caramel and tropical fruitiness, some grapefruit hoppyness. Body is medium to full, malty and sweetish flavor, some caramel and tropical fruitiness, some grapefruit - light citrus hoppyness, light alcohol. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish - sweetish, light - some caramel and light tropical fruitiness, some grapefruit - citrus hoppyness, light - some alcohol. Caramel sweetish DIPA - could use more bitterness. Too much alcohol in the finish considering the body.

On tap at Cafe Sara, december 2nd 2014. Cloudy golden body with a big white head. Aroma of oranges, peach, choriander. Taste is citric with pine and a mild caramel sweetness. Crisp and light sweetness for the strength. Good bitterness. Piny and spicy finish. Nice.

Keg at The Buxton Brewery Tap House. A clear deep golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of orange marmalade, pine, slight lemon, some caramel and grassy hops. Taste is similar of orange marmalade, slight grapefruit, resin, caramel, maybe slight toffee and subtle grassy hops. Medium bodied but a slightly syrupy texture. A dry, marmalade bitterness in the finish. A hard hitting, orange marmalade IPA. Nicely balanced with the sweet caramel but maybe a little viscous, nice though.
