Bottle. Very dark brown - almost black, small and fully diminishing dark brown head. Moderate to full malty - light oat and lightly sweetish aroma, some roasted - light burnt malt and light chocolate. Body is medium to full, malty – light oat and lightly sweetish, light caramel, roasted malt and light chocolate, light - some hoppyness. Finish is average to full, malty - light oat and lightly sweetish, lots of roasted - light burnt malt, light chocolate and light coffee, some piney hoppyness. Really nice roasted stout - not too much chocolate/coffee. Could be little bit drier.

Bottled, 330ml at The Buxton Tap House, Buxton, Derbys. Black with tan head. This pours thickly and slowly giving quite a smooth beer, quite tarry, fruity and liquorice notes are all present followed by a hint of bitterness. Luscious and full. Excellent.

330 ml bottle from Birra+ (Bottled on 09-06-2014). Pitch black, dark and thick like used motor oil, with a small, creamy, moderately persistent light brown head. Lovely roasted and toasted smell, lots of bitter dark chocolate notes, some light vanilla and licorice presence, fudge and toffee candy, no alchool at all on the nose. Slightly warming, slick and velvety, slightly fruity (darker berries types), pleasent but mild bitterness. Extremely easy to drink for the ABV. Slightly ashy, roasted and chocolaty aftertaste. Soft carbonation, medium to full body, oily texture. Excellent sipper.

Bottle from Cornelius. Pours pitch black tiny tan head. Roasted malt and coffee nose. Taste is bitter and slightly sour? Coffee, very bitter chocolate. Would've preferred a little more sweetness, but otherwise tasty.
