Wild Boar pours a pale straw colour with a fluffy white head. It has aromas of spicy lime and mango, with distinct flavours of honey malt and fruit punch, followed by a dry bitter finish.

330ml bottle from The Beerhive. Frothy white head, a little lacing. Body is clear pale gold. Brilliant nose, pine, resin, honey. Flavour is pine, grass, a little spice, grapefruit on the finish. Good big mouthfeel, bit of bite, light carbonation. Good stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Bottle at home. Has a slightly hazy light orange colour with a medium, creamy, light beige head. Fruity aroma with pine, grapefruit, citrus and nice grassy hops. The flavour follows up and is similar. Has a slick mouth feel, and a medium bitterness. A fresh, fruity and well-balanced IPA

Had this at home, poured cloudy gold with a white head that laces the glass. Aroma of pear and sour tangerine. Quite dry on the palate. Slight floral turning almost nutty hoppy.

Bottle at home. Cloudy orange colour with thin white head that persists around the edge. Citrus, orange, grapefruit, maybe some lychee. All balanced with some bitterness which carries over into the finish. Doesn’t have the hit of Buxton’s Axe Edge but still a good IPA.

Hazy straw. Some white head. A lot of citrus, grapefruit and lemon, nose. Medium body. A bit over medium, and also a bit too much and too stingy, carbonation. Bitter. Hop, lemon, citrus, some grapefruit, seltzer and hint of metallic flavour. Ok.

Cloudy, golden, mango, not too bitter or sour, small noticeable head that clings to beer rather than glass, frothy, medium body, fruity, floral, not very herbal or hoppy, slightly spicy. Had it twice at bottle shop, canterbury. Bottle.

Appearance: clear gold, small frothy white head. Taste: medium sweet. Palate: cereals, flowers, light grass, bitters coming up, dry long finish. Overall: great English IPA - that’s how it should be! Pint at Buxton Tap House, Buxton.

Bottle at home. Murky orange brown slug colour with a thin white head. Nice smooth easy to drink IPA. More mellow citrus and creamy hops than bite your face off bitterness. All round mellow, in a good way. Citrus, blackcurrant, pear, apple, refreshing and tasty. Good work.
