Bottle shared by Erwin Van Moll @ Van Moll Brewpub. Very hazy yellow color, full sized quite quickly diminishing white head. Aroma is lightly malts, grapefruit, fruity hops, peach, mandarin, hops. Taste lightly malts, lots of hops, very fruity, light to moderately grapefruit, again mandarin and a slight touch of orangepeel. Medium body, firm carbonation. Absolutely lovely.

330ml bottle from Archive Beer Boutique. Rating from 2013. Solid IPA that hits the spot without being too over the top.

On tap at Buxton Tap House, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small beige head. Nose is quite fruity, with citrus and piney hops. Flavour is very dry, with lots of dry piney and floral hops, and bone dry biscuity malt to back. Very dry, without any residual sweetness at all. Very good IPA.

Bottle. It pours a hazy, orange-golden body under a dense, finger-thick off-white head leaving lacings. Quite a lot of orange on the nose, pine cones, some roses and citrus zest, with a pleasant maltyness in the back. The flavor has a fine bitterness to deal with the residual sweetness. Roses, orange zest and pine cones in the flavor, not much maltyness. A bit heavy on the carbonation, full-bodied and soft, semi-sweet. Lasting bitter and orangey finish. Nice indeed, but I end up with the feeling something’s missing. Can’t put my finger on it though. 140625

330ml bottle. Hazy golden colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity hoppy aroma, citrusy, notes of grapefruit, passion fruit, a touch of mango. Taste is bitter hoppy, some grapefruit, slightly mineral, chalky and a cautious touch of cardboard. Good.

Bottle. Murky honey/amber with minimal head but strong lacing. Tropical notes of grapefruit, lemon blossom, mango and passionfruit as well as grassy hops, a hint of pine and caramel malts. Strong pine flavours without dominating resin, grapefruit, grassy hops and a caramel back note. High bitterness but a very smooth mouthfeel. A non-typical IPA for an English brewer, more American in style.
