This brew just doesn’t appeal. It seems pushy and alcoholic and is unpleasantly cloying. There’s an attempt at maltiness but the mouthfeel is soapy and sweet. Not a lot of redeeming qualities - my least favorite brew from the guys at Buzzards Bay ever.

bottle courtesy of Cavie, pours caramel with a medium off white head. Aroma is hay and some floral hops. Flavor is rich biscuit and grass malt flavors, some sweet caramel and thin bitter finish. Not very well balanced.

(12oz bottle, courtesy of Cavie) Pours a clear orange body with a small off-white head. Aroma of nuts, caramel, maple, roasted grain, and brown sugar. Flavor of caramel, raisins, nuts, light grass, and some roasted malt with a dry, somewhat bitter finish.

( 12oz bottle thanks to cavie) Pours clear orange with no lacing or head. Nose of toasted brown sugar, sweet malt. Taste is watery, and toasted grains.

Caramel orange-red, whitish foam. Dry spicy aroma, caramel. Taste is sweet, spicy, caramel. Light cocoa.

Aroma - earthy hop, subtle malt;
Appearance - light brown, fluffy head, excellent lacing;
Taste - mild malt front, basic hop back, slightly bitter finish;
Palate - somewhat crisp, decent body;
Overall - good for the style, easy drinking yet flavorful.

Bottle thanks to Cavie. Pours a clear, light amber with off-white head. Aroma of malt, faint honey, light fruit. Flavor is kinda watered down, some malt and honey with some light fruit. Mouth feel is watery, medium body, medium carbonation. Overall, nothing to write home about.

Biscuity malt character. Somewhat chewy with some caramel notes. A little spice, fruit and nut. Wet leather flask character.

Bottle thanks to cavie. Brown pour with a white head. Nose is butter, caramel and nuts. Decent on the palate with a flavor that reflects the nose quite well.
