Dark amber/orange color. Pleasant slightly sweet flavor, but a little on the light side. Hop presence is up=front but leaves no aftertaste. Good for a hot afternoon.

5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20 REDDOGICE (203) - nantucket, Massachusetts, USA - JUL 7, 2004
This is another fine beer from an already fine Brewery. Its amber color makes it an excellent choice for parties or any occasion.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 ClarkVV (3578) - Allston, Massachusetts, USA - JUN 21, 2004
2004 bottle. Pours a caramelly, rusty brown with some light red-gold tinges. Good white head, lots of bubbles and clear. Aroma of earthiness, yeast, some dry caramel and toffee and a shot of dry grainy hops. Flavor is lightly sweet, a bit metallic, texture is slightly coarse and moderately carbonated. Watery, medium body, with some hints of brown/red fruits. Average.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 sfontain (539) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 16, 2004
Pours amber with a small, white head that disappears. Aroma is pleasant and malty with raisins and caramel. Flavor is surprisingly fruity; malty with light raisins, and light hops in the finish. Watery. Not bad, not great.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 muzzlehatch (4425) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - MAY 13, 2004
12 oz bottle. Very clear medium amber, little head...bit cidery-looking. Fragile malty nose, hint of caramel. Pleasant full body, caramel, a little smoky bitterness; but rather watery and brackish in the finish. Another mediocre, just drinkable beer from this oh-so-average brewery.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Ida7999 (105) - Milford, Massachusetts, USA - APR 8, 2004
clear, orangey/amber color, little head, light carbonation, aroma is fruity – oranges, with some hop and malt aromas as well; flavor has more bitterness than expected, a light orange fruit flavor, very light hints of malt and an average hop presence
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Volgon (2715) - Manchester, New Hampshire, USA - JUL 8, 2003
UPDATED: DEC 26, 2003 Clear orange color, citrus nose, metal taste (perhaps it's my ringwood yeast detector) ends blah. Buzzards Bay is one of less inspiring Massachusetts brewers.
